Project Brief:

p2m was engaged by Bovis Lend Lease to audit 6500 ANZ staff who are to be relocated to a new site under construction at 833 Collins St. The audit took place over a 5 month period and involved approximately 8 sites.

The aim of the audit was to confirm the file storage requirements set out in the construction and fit out brief were sufficient to meet the banks requirements. Other tasks undertaken during the audit included identifying old or surplus files and material as well as security requirements for sensitive records.

During the audit we also identified special storage requirements for groups who had unusual size item such as Canoes and ATM Machine Costumes. After the audit was completed we prepared a detailed storage report which summarized the quantity and types of records held as well as an implementation plan for which will assist the bank in reducing the quantity of hard copy documentation being stored on site.

The storage report also detailed some way in which the bank could improve its storage efficiency by reviewing and potentially phasing out one of the storage systems it currently utilized.

A GAP analysis was also completed as part of this project which confirmed that for the majority of the staff planned to relocate to the new site had sufficient storage to meet their needs including growth.
